Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the United States. She was best known as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child at Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio and she continued her interest in the stage. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one semester at British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed by the theater in the Chicago area for several years prior to trying her hand at television and film roles. In 1992, Anna was offered her first big role in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. Anna continued to appear in movies and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late the 1990's. She was then placed in The Practice as Jean Ward. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler was her role as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood was another movie she starred in. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in the play Numbered Day. It is an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio dramas. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final ending mirrors the last seasons in the story of Walter White.
